          Dia de los Muertos Deadlift Challenge

           

          Join us on Saturday, November 2nd from 10am-2pm to put your deadlift to the test!

          • Open to lifters of all levels
          • Demos, t-shirts giveaways, and prizes
          • Face paint and costumes are welcome!
          Rules: Belts are allowed. No straps. Grip must be outside of your stance. Three attempts per lifter. Lifters "weigh-out" after their third attempt. Each lifter's best successful attempt and body-weight will be used to calculate a Wilks Coefficient - the top three men and the top three women win. No, Mark Rippetoe will not be hosting, nor does he condone the use of face paint.

          Interested in learning how to squat? Or in cleaning up your current squat form? Book a Squat Workshop and learn why the Starting Strength style squat is the best way to make your whole body strong. Work up to a set of five reps, under the guidance of a coach.

          Semi-private coaching is for trainees that need more one-on-one attention or for those that can't train in the gym regularly.

          Group intro session included to teach you the lifts and to get you acquainted with the gym. If you want to do Starting Strength, with all of the equipment you need, and programming from a coach, this is the plan for you.
